What Did the Researchers Find?

After 12 weeks, participants who followed the healthy lifestyle program experienced a statistically significant reduction in their biological aging rate.

On average, their pace of aging slowed by approximately 2.2% compared with those who maintained their usual lifestyle.

Interestingly, the improvement occurred regardless of weight loss. Researchers found that the slower aging rate was not directly linked to reductions in body weight, body mass index (BMI), or even the exact number of exercise sessions completed.
